Firefox globally issued WoSign new root certificate again

At the end of 2015, Mozilla introduced the internet security service, NSS 3.21 version, which has higher level of security. Two root certificates of WoSign CA, Certification Authority of WoSign G2 and CA WoSign ECC Root have been officially added into Mozilla root certificate library. Certification Authority of WoSign G2 is a root certificate using SHA2 signature algorithm, while CA WoSign ECC Root is used in mobile internet ECC encryption algorithm. WoSign owns full proprietorship and intellectual property over these two root certificates.

Mozilla 44 version globally issued these two root certificates on January 27, 2016. This is the second time that it globally issued WoSign root certificate. On September 3, 2014, Firefox Mozilla officially preset two WoSign root certificates. (Certification Authority of WoSign (English root certificate) and CA WoSign root certificate (Chinese root certificate).) This showed that WoSign CA system of issuing certificates has passed the strict review and is in accordance with international standards. Up to now, four WoSign top root certificates has passed the certification of Mozilla as shown below:
